Message from the Head of Mission and Theology Department
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Mission and Theology Department of the South West Bethel Synod is entrusted with the vital responsibility of guiding the Church in its theological integrity and mission engagement. Our calling is to ensure that the proclamation of the Gospel remains faithful to the Word of God, rooted in sound Lutheran theology, and relevant to the context in which we serve.
This department provides theological direction, prepares and equips ministers and evangelists, and coordinates evangelism and mission activities throughout the Synod. In doing so, we seek to strengthen the faith of believers, encourage vibrant congregational life, and extend the reach of the Gospel to those who have not yet heard the Good News of Christ.
As Head of this department, I am committed to leading with humility and dedication, working closely with congregations, pastors, evangelists, and partners so that together we may faithfully respond to the Great Commission. Our mission is not only to teach sound doctrine but also to live it out in love, service, and witness.
May the Lord continue to guide us in His mission and make us faithful instruments of His Kingdom.
